Door County: It is a northeastern Wisconsin peninsula virtually surrounded by water, fairly unknown outside the northern Midwest, home to artists of every medium, a place where each season has it's own special attributes. It is some 60 miles long and about 10 miles wide, yet full of intimate joys: lovely and interesting villages, carefully plotted cherry and apple orchards...a very special place with a multitude of small pleasures. I hope you enjoy my Views from the Door.
